A quick and powerful homemade ginger shot packed with anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting ingredients. Great for daily wellness.
Ingredients
1/4 cup fresh ginger root (peeled and chopped)
1/4 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
1 tbsp turmeric root or 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (with the mother)
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for a kick)
1 tbsp raw honey (optional, to sweeten)
1/4 cup water
Instructions
Add ginger root, lemon juice, turmeric, apple cider vinegar, cayenne pepper, and water to a blender.
Blend on high until smooth.
Strain mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a glass or jar.
Stir in raw honey, if using.
Pour into small shot glasses and enjoy immediately, or store in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Notes
For extra potency, let the blended mixture sit for 5–10 minutes before straining.
If you prefer a sweeter shot, you can use orange juice instead of water.
