Description

This cottage cheese protein ice cream is a quick, healthy, high-protein frozen treat that’s smooth, creamy, and guilt-free. With just 3 ingredients and no ice cream maker needed, it’s the perfect smart dessert or post-workout snack.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup full-fat cottage cheese

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (or sugar-free sweetener like monk fruit)

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional: ½ banana or 1 tablespoon peanut butter for flavor

Instructions

  1. Add cottage cheese, sweetener, and vanilla (plus optional ingredients) to a high-powered blender or food processor.
  2. Blend on high until completely smooth and creamy, with no lumps.
  3. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and smooth out the top.
  4. Freeze for 2–4 hours, stirring once halfway through to keep it soft.
  5. Let thaw for 10 minutes before scooping. Enjoy!

Notes

For a soft-serve version, use frozen banana and enjoy immediately after blending.

To boost protein, add 1 scoop of vanilla or chocolate protein powder.

Flavor variations: try cocoa powder for chocolate, strawberries for fruit flavor, or peanut butter for a nutty twist.
