Description

This homemade blue salt recipe is inspired by a viral wellness trend used for hydration, energy, and even spiritual rituals. Made with natural salt, citrus, and optional blue coloring, it’s simple, quick, and perfect for daily use as a wellness tonic or energy reset spray.

Ingredients

Scale

1 teaspoon natural sea salt or Himalayan pink salt

5 teaspoons warm filtered water

23 drops fresh lemon or lime juice

A pinch of blue spirulina or butterfly pea flower powder *(optional)*

1 drop peppermint essential oil or a crushed mint leaf *(optional)*

Instructions

1. Warm the filtered water until it’s just warm to the touch — not hot.

2. Stir in the salt until fully dissolved.

3. Add the citrus juice and mix gently.

4. If desired, add a pinch of blue spirulina or butterfly pea powder for a natural blue color.

5. For extra freshness, drop in the mint or essential oil.

6. Use as a morning sip (1–2 tablespoons), in a ritual spray bottle, or add to a warm bath.
